Let me introduce myself…

Hello there! My name is Leslie and I am a window painter, muralist and fine artist in the Champaign, Illinois.

My public art journey started when I built a tiny website in 2020 and started sharing piece of my art that I painted while processing my deconstruction of my faith. Art has helped me solidify my own beliefs and paradigms—so for those who might be on a similar journey of unlearning and growing, you might find my fine art a safe place to land. This is the place where I share the art that was inspired by change makers—authors, bloggers, podcasters, or musicians!

But wait!….That’s just the beginning!

In 2021 I began painting windows to raise money around the holidays for a single mother of 5 who needed a van. That small act turned into businesses coninuing to call and ask for THEIR windows to be painted and BAM!—-I realized I LOVED painting windows AND murals!

Fast forward to 2024 where I now have decided to stop teaching piano (after 30 years) and transition my energy and focus on new career that not only brings ME so much joy, but everyone around who gets to be surprised by cheerful storefront windows, walls or mobile murals!
