Why Ted Lasso Inspires Me
I wasn’t thrilled with Ted Lasso at first. But after the first couple episodes I was hooked. The honesty and relatability has made the show one of my ultimate favorites. I now pause and rewind parts just to be able to write a quote down so I don’t forget it’s insprational motivation! Besides the fact that there are countless one liners and hilarious scenes, the show touches on several themes of perserveance, team work, friendship and honesty. When the lead character blatently admits not knowing what the heck he’s doing as a football (soccer) coach in Britian, I’m drawn to the transparency of Ted Lasso’s life as he strives to make connections with his players, coworkers and fans on and off the field. Do yourself a favor and sit down with Ted Lasso for not only some laugh out louds, but inspiration to keep going when life gets tough. I’m sharing here a set of 4 greeting cards I designed based off of some of Ted Lasso’s pep talks!
